Though I spent six years as a "snow bird", and another two years as a full time resident of Boca Raton, I continued to commute to Connecticut for my dental care, and did not consider s electing a professional for this service in Florida. However, after hearing that three different friends/acquaintances were patients of the same dentist, and all had rave reviews of her abilities, I chose to make my first appointment. That first appointment was enough to make a decision to become a patient of Kathryn Boehly, DMD! I appreciated her practiced, pleasant, and patient methods, her confident manner of her abilities, and her trustworthiness. The thorough examination provided me good news, and some bad news, but I did not feel intimidated to proceed with all of the work outlined at once. In fact, after two years of routine appointments (with no pressure from the doctor or her staff), I spontaneously decided to explore the possibility of some "major projects". Actually experiencing the "projects" seems a blur to me now, as a result of her great thoughtfulness. Longer, and therefore less appointments, during which a great deal was accomplished, were most appreciated. Each phase was explained to me, for my total understanding, and each procedure was done with the most tender touch. Since I had had similar work done almost 20 years ago, I was familiar with what I thought was to happen, but Dr. Boehly had newer, more improved methods, that provided better end results. She also gave sincere consideration to specific eccentricities in my mouth and made adjustments to correct them without my awareness, so that upon installation of the new work, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only do I enjoy having a healthier mouth, one that I know will serve me for many years, I also enjoy having the pride of the most magnificent smile - one that prompts compliments constantly - here in Boca Raton, and wherever I travel. I say this, because I have the pleasure of recounting my wonderful experience whenever I receive a compliment....and several times this has encouraged the people to become patients of Dr. Boehly as well!

It has been about a year since Dr Boehly transformed my smile. Those who new me thought I was crazy to travel all the way down to Delray Beach, Florida from New York City, just because I met a patient at an NYU graduation luncheon in NY with the most beautiful set of porcelain caps I had every seen and I wanted this woman's dentist to do the same for me. Before I met Dr Boehly I had a bit of experience looking around over the years for such quality workmanship. Dr. Boehly was just incredible. I had been having gum bleeding issues for at least a year and no dentists were taking it seriously. Brush harder, floss more, use more Listerine...nothing was helping. I saw Dr. Boehly's ad and thought I'd give her a try. I don't know why I chose her, intuition told me she was the right one...and she was!!! Her diagnosis turned out to be correct. Improper placement of previous restoration work, (some crowns, veneers), made it impossible to clean below the gum line. I could never floss my way out of this mess. We spent six months correcting the gum line and infectious issues, replacing everything with beautifully crafted crowns, not only correctly placed but also enhancing my smile to its best potential. My teeth and gums are now healthy and beautiful. It was an expensive procedure but one that was fairly priced and worth every penny. I'm not signing my name because everyone thinks they are my natural teeth, (that's a compliment by the way)!!!
