Tooth Whitening

Tooth whitening ( bleaching) brightens teeth that are discolored or stained. Bleaching may be done completely in the dental office or we may dispense a system for you to use at home.

We do offer Zoom whitening for our in office whitening system. Our Zoom procedure takes about 90 minutes in the office, starting off with a short preparation to cover your lips and gums leaving only your teeth exposed. Dr Boehly then applies the Zoom whitening gel for a number of intervals from 10-15 minutes each. You then leave the office with a brighter, whiter smile!

We also offer a take home whitening kit, which includes customized trays to fit your teeth and a bleaching gel kit. You take the bleach home with you and apply for one hour a day for up to two weeks. Then after the intial treatment you can use as often as you like to reach the results you are looking for and to maintain you new white smile!

Tetracyline stained teeth can also be whitened. In these cases, the take home materials are recommended. For these types of cases it takes from one month to six months to get a favorable result.
